Dare County Arts Council Announces Black Opal Masquerade Ball Date

Dare County Arts Council cordially invites you to the Black Opal Masquerade Ball on Saturday, October 28 at Pirate’s Cove Pavilion in Manteo from 7pm-12am.

The Black Opal Masquerade Ball will feature the Outer Banks’ finest culinary artists providing delectable cuisine, dynamic décor designed by Nancy Harvey of Holiday House, a silent auction full of fine art and exclusive packages from local businesses, as well as an entire night of entertainment from a variety of musicians.

The event will be a “costumed spectacle” with guests encouraged to select their own creative attire- whether it is a black tie, masquerade mask or completely wild, artistically inspired costume.

“I am very honored and excited to serve as the chairperson of Dare County Arts Council’s 2017 gala, the Black Opal Masquerade Ball,” said Producer and Owner of Bearded Face Productions Mike Dianna. “I look forward to helping DCAC organize a unique evening of celebration and fundraising for one of eastern North Carolina’s most valuable organizations.”

The Black Opal Masquerade Ball is Dare County Arts Council’s annual fundraiser, which enables the nonprofit organization to fulfill their mission and reach thousands of people in every demographic while operating all year.

Tickets are $125 per person and are available here and at Dare County Arts Council in downtown Manteo. Guests are also able to reserve tables of eight for $1,500. Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your tickets in advance.

Presented by TowneBank, the Black Opal Masquerade Ball is the perfect opportunity for the Outer Banks community and visitors to enjoy a magical evening while celebrating and supporting the arts.

As the event’s Michelangelo sponsor, TowneBank is also supporting Dare County Arts Council’s Emerging Artists Series and Power of Art program, which is designed to give those with disabilities the opportunity to create and make critical decisions through unique art programs and events.

Mark your calendars for this exciting event! For sponsorship or event information, please contact Dare County Arts Council at 252-473-5558 or visit DareArts.org.
