Our penultimate film is a poignant story starring strong character actors Jason Schwartzman and Carol Kane. A grief-stricken cantor in a crisis of faith finds his world turned upside down when his grade school music teacher re-enters his life as his new adult Bat Mitzvah student.  The two forlorn souls develop a special connection in this unorthodox comedy from Nathan Silver. All films will be screened at Dare Arts in Manteo, unless otherwise specified. Doors will open at 6pm and films will start at 6:15pm. Discussion follows the screening. Seating is first come, first serve. The venue is accessible and has an elevator. Outer Banks Film Society Memberships are not refundable and are only available to adults 18 and up.
