The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro Call for NC Visual Artists


The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro (The ACGG) is excited to announce a unique opportunity for talented visual artists or artist teams from North Carolina to create signature works for the Cone Health Heart & Vascular Center at Moses Cone Hospital, scheduled to open in 2025.


The selected artwork will be placed in three prominent locations within the $160 million new Heart & Vascular Center, designed by the renowned global architecture and design firm HKS. Three art activation spaces have been identified for signature works: a café seating area, an elevator area spanning four floors, and the main entrance foyer. This project is part of Cone Health's commitment to fostering an environment of health, well-being, connection, and community.


Eligibility

·         Reside in North Carolina

·         Be able to work in the United States legally

·         Embrace the visioning guidelines approved by the steering committee


The deadline for submission of artist letters of interest is May 1, 2024, at 11:59PM.
