Expressions of the Heart Exhibit
In February, our Vault Gallery will feature the special group exhibit Expressions of the Heart.
The month-long exhibit will showcase mixed media inspired by Jim Dine's Heart Series Expressions workshops.
Expressions of the Heart will be on display January 30 through February 27.
A variety of heart themed artwork will be on display, with special work created as part of DCAC’s Expressions of Hope and Healing program, designed to bring a creative outlet to anyone affected by cancer.

In 2019, DCAC and The Outer Banks Hospital worked together to create Expressions of Hope & Healing of the Outer Banks Cancer Community, series of free art workshops and artistic resources to community members who have been impacted by cancer.
The Expressions program ensures that anyone who has been touched by cancer in any capacity (cancer patients, their family members/friends, caretakers, cancer survivors and our local oncology healthcare professionals) can share their journey and experiences through the arts.
