On Wednesday, November 19 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers are invited to join artist and educator Holly Gottenborg for a basket weaving class at the Cowell Cancer Center in Nags Head.

Participants will create colorful coiled baskets using yarn in this hands-on, meditative workshop. Through the repetitive process of wrapping and weaving, we’ll focus on mindfulness, creativity, and connection while making something both personal and functional.

No experience required. This workshop is for everyone.

Cost: Thanks to a Community Benefit Grant from Outer Banks Health, this workshop is free for cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers, and all supplies are included.
