On Wednesday, January 29 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers are invited to join artist Carol Beal for a tactile weaving class at the Cowell Cancer Center in Nags Head.

Each participant will choose from a wide range of yarn and fabric to create a unique and beautiful wall hanging. The process of intertwining threads, beads and found objects can remind us of how all the parts of our lives…the joyful moments, the sorrow, our distinct relationships with others and our unique life events can come together to create something quite beautiful!

No experience required. This workshop is for everyone.

Cost: Thanks to a Community Benefit Grant from Outer Banks Health, this workshop is free for cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers, and all supplies are included.
