Robert WINNE Exhibit

Carolina by the Sea: A collection of Beachscapes inspired by the Coastline of North Carolina

In July our Vault Gallery will feature original paintings by Virginia artist Robert WINNE.

As a life-long sportsman, Robert’s beachscape paintings are inspired from his interaction with the outdoors, primarily with the beaches, inlets and marshes along the North Carolina coastline. His paintings vary from heavily textured pieces that utilize organic elements such a cement and marble dust to works in which he applies multiple layers of acrylic washes to achieve atmospheric qualities. Robert works primarily in acrylic, oil and cold wax. Many of his painting titles incorporate names of the small towns and beaches in the Outer Banks.
