Dare County Arts Council is closely following all local, state and national guidance on how to minimize the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our artists, volunteers, staff and art supporters, so we are taking the precautions listed below.
- The DCAC Gallery in downtown Manteo will be closed as of 5pm today (March 13, 2020) through Monday, March 23. We will make a public announcement about reopening as soon as possible.
- All of our workshops that are scheduled between Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 23 are cancelled with a plan to reschedule them as soon as we can. We will be emailing all pre-registered workshop participants directly to let them know, and give them the option of applying the workshop fee to a future workshop or being issued a refund.
- At this time, all of our major programs, exhibits and events after March 23 are still on schedule, but this is subject to change based on guidance from federal, state and local authorities.
Should any other upcoming workshops or events be cancelled or postponed, there will be another update with all of the necessary details and they will be posted on our website and Facebook page.
