On Wednesday, May 20 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers are invited to join artist Abbie Flaherty for a healing heart shadow box workshop at the Cowell Cancer Center in Nags Head.

Using layered paper cutouts, an assortment of fabric remnants, colorful beads and ribbon, participants will construct their own customizable decorative shadow box.

Cost: Thanks to a Community Benefit Grant from Outer Banks Health, this workshop is free for cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers, and all supplies are included.
