On Wednesday, May 21 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers are invited to join artists Suzanne Scott Constantine and Lynne Scott Constantine for a fun adventure into the world of flash fiction writing at the Cowell Cancer Center in Nags Head.
Flash fiction is bite-sized fiction, less than 1,500 words—even as few as six words. Romance or sci-fi, whodunit or historical, if you can dream it up, you can write it short and (not necessarily) sweet. Perfect for sharing on social
media or as a little delight for friends and family. Come with ideas, try the instructor's prompts, or go completely random with the Writing Dice. Suzanne and Lynne will get you started with advice and examples, and everyone will go home with at least one completed flash.
No experience required. This workshop is for everyone.
