On Wednesday, December 17 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers are invited to join artist Carol Beal for a fiber ornament making class at the Cowell Cancer Center in Nags Head.
Carol will lead participants through an immersive fiber art experience employing materials from traditional Kumihimo weaving methods. Participants will create their own unique pieces to be enjoyed as either ornaments, accessories or a beautiful handmade gift for the holidays.
No experience required. This workshop is for everyone.
Cost: Thanks to a Community Benefit Grant from Outer Banks Health, this workshop is free for cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers, and all supplies are included.
