Lone Star, (1996), 2hr 15 mins, contemporary Western mystery

American independent director John Sayles brings us a love story set in the midst of clashes over identity and whose history is reflected or forgotten in modern-day Texas. All films will be screened at Dare Arts in Manteo, unless otherwise specified. Doors will open at 6pm and films will start at 6:15pm. Discussion follows the screening. Seating is first come, first serve. The venue is accessible and has an elevator. Outer Banks Film Society Memberships are not refundable and are only available to adults 18 and up.
