On Wednesday, September 16 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers are invited to join artist Abbie Flaherty for a painted shell canvas workshop at the Cowell Cancer Center in Nags Head.

Participants will learn how to transform seashells into vibrant floral or geometric motifs. By painting natural seashells and securing them onto a textured canvas, participants will create stunning coastal wall art. This hands-on craft combines acrylic painting, markers and mosaic arrangement to turn beach finds into a modern 3D masterpiece. 

Cost: Thanks to a Community Benefit Grant from Outer Banks Health, this workshop is free for cancer survivors, patients and their caregivers, and all supplies are included.
