Tyson Andrews Exhibit

Whimsical Woodworking

In June, our Vault Gallery will feature woodwork by Tyson Andrews.

When you enter Tyson Andrews' Whimsical Woodworking expect to see mind-bending patterns and shapes that remind you of M.C. Escher and Alice In Wonderland.

A combination of exotic and domestic hardwoods are used to make a variety of jewelry boxes, unique cutting boards, some epoxy work, and of course the grandfather clock! Tyson's work is intricate with hidden compartments and secret locks inside of jewelry boxes and bold with very thick butcher block style cutting boards that are heirloom quality. Some of his woodwork features flowing designs and other pieces are more symmetrical.
