A unique collection of surf craft will be exhibited in Dare County Arts Council's upstairs courtroom Gallery September 17 through October 6.
Skimboards, bodyboards, longboards, shortboards alaias, handplanes, surf mats and more, curated by Steve Wise will be on display. The array of surf craft will provide insight into the wide variety of craft surfers use to ride waves, along with some surfing history.
The exhibit will feature an amazing collection of unique surf craft from surfers across the Outer Banks and beyond.

Opening Reception Details
Surf and art enthusiasts are invited to Dare County Arts Council for the opening reception on Friday, September 20 at 6:30pm.
Come check out this amazing display of surfcraft and stay for some surf films.
The opening reception will be held during the 2019 Surfalorus Film Festival, which is returning to the Outer Banks September 19-21. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
There will also be a special screening of Noah's Ark on First Friday, October 8 at 8pm in DCAC's courtroom Gallery. This screening is also free and open to the public.
