Mike Bennett Solo Exhibit

In October, our vault will host a solo exhibit featuring Williamston, NC artist Mike Bennett.

As a visual artist, Mike paints all types of subjects from portraits to murals and other large compositions. Mike works in the following media; pencil, pastels, charcoal, pen, ink, watercolor, oil and mixed media to create figures, landscapes, seascapes, interior compositions, and more. 

Mike was born in Robersonville, North Carolina. He started drawing at an early age and he is mostly self taught. Bennett attended school at Oak City High and received a scholarship for year 1975-1976 to the North Carolina School of The Arts in Winston Salem, NC. 

Opening Reception + Artist Details

Join us for an opening reception on Friday, October 4 from 6pm - 8pm. There will be light hors d'oeuvres, libations, live music on the courthouse steps and reception guests will have the opportunity to meet Mike.


The reception is during downtown Manteo's First Friday festivities and is free and open to the public.

The show will be on display October 4-29, 2019.
