Kelsey Finnie Exhibit

Finding Balance

In October our Vault Gallery will feature glasswork by Virginia artist Kelsey Finnie.

The Finding Balance exhibit will showcase Kelsey's intricate glass blowing techniques while exploring balance in her life and art.

Glass lives a life in flux between fluidity and form, and Kelsey's work explores these dichotomies and pushes to put glass at the brink of make or break moments. She draws inspiration from texture, form and collaboration. In the traditional essence of glass, glass is smooth, but when combined in multiples or varied materials it becomes something more.

In this month-long exhibit, visitors will find a variety of work, from production items and personal work, and the line in-between. Kelsey is always teetering between design and concept, but also balance in every aspect of her life.
