Joseph Caroppoli Exhibit
Feminine Expressions Throughout The World
In September, our Vault Gallery will feature paintings by Joseph Caroppoli.
This exhibition is a collection of female figure paintings created in oil. It is about effectively expressing the female ability to maintain grace and ease despite the complexity of their role in society. Joe purposefully created mystery in the figure in order to allow the viewer an opportunity to feel the totality of the moment beyond the essence itself.
Joe begins his paintings with raw canvas and uses abstract-expressionism interwoven with realism to bring about the essence of the subject matter. Oil paints are his medium of choice because their corrigibility allows him to explore his subject more intimately.

"As an artist I am interested in humanities ceremonial rituals based on cultural and religious beliefs. I am attracted to the performing arts through the expression of dance, regalia, rites of passage, and other traditions." - Joseph Caroppoli
