Moments Of Light And Color
Moments Of Light And Color is eclectic in subject matter, but most of the oil and acrylic paintings carry the thread of fairly bold lighting and color.
Janet's month-long exhibit will feature her impressionistic paintings that are known for lush colors with unusual viewing or vantage points.
Janet says that many days she sees something so special that she rushes home to make sketches and get the image down in paint.
An example of that is her painting Storm On The Bridge. Janet says, "I was caught in a violent summer thunderstorm while driving over a bridge. The dark sky, car head and tail lights, lightning, and road vapor all made a dramatic and colorful scene. I rushed home to make sketches while it was fresh in my mind."
