National Board Certified Art Teacher Mari Beth LaRose will lead an art party on Monday, July 10 from 3pm to 5pm at the Dare Arts Gallery in Manteo. At class, students will create their very own canvas painting of either a mermaid tail or a whale tale using sponges, paint markers, and paint.

Mermaid/Whale tail- sponges, paint markers, and paint. We will learn about color mixing and creating tints with paint.

Cost: $45 per student. Includes all supplies, snack and water. Payment must be made in advance via credit card online at DareArts.org/workshops.

Preregistration is required. There must be 5 children signed up for class to take place. Class is open to kids 7 and up and is limited to 15 students.

Children are encouraged to wear paint friendly clothes.

Cancellation policy: Registrations cannot be transferred to future workshops. No-shows will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel for any reason, we will only refund you if we are able to fill the spot. If we are forced to reschedule/cancel the workshop for any reason, we will contact you directly about the new date or refund.
