National Board Certified Art Teacher Mari Beth LaRose will lead an art party on Wednesday, August 9 from 3pm to 5pm at the Dare Arts Gallery in Manteo. At class, students will learn the parts of a seascape and how to create the illusion of depth using color while create their very own canvas painting of a seagull.

Cost: $45 per student. Includes all supplies, snack and water. Payment must be made in advance via credit card online at DareArts.org/workshops.

Preregistration is required. There must be 5 children signed up for class to take place. Class is open to kids 7 and up and is limited to 15 students.

Children are encouraged to wear paint friendly clothes.

Cancellation policy: Registrations cannot be transferred to future workshops. No-shows will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel for any reason, we will only refund you if we are able to fill the spot. If we are forced to reschedule/cancel the workshop for any reason, we will contact you directly about the new date or refund.
