For over 30 years, the Dare County Arts Council has been fulfilling a vital mission to encourage the Arts in Dare County through Advocacy, Enrichment and Opportunity. The DCAC strongly believes that the Arts are essential to the creation and sustenance of a thriving, vital community. Each year thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds participate in DCAC sponsored Arts programs as performers, artists, audience members, students, visitors, and volunteers. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Your membership makes the difference! With your help, the Dare County Arts Council is able to provide:

• A gallery for established and emerging artists
• Promotion of Arts in Education throughout Dare County Schools and the community
• Annual scholarships to graduating high school seniors
• Connecting arts opportunities to individual artists and organizations
• Funding to community organizations and schools through the North Carolina Arts Council's Grass Roots Grant Program
• Ongoing classes and workshops in a variety of media and disciplines for all ages
