"Honey, We're 20!"

The daytime children’s art event was held Saturday, October 3 at Dare County Park and Recreation in Kill Devil Hills, and featured crafts for kids, live music, a children’s auction, healing arts and local artists’ art for sale. Additionally, environmental artist Bryant Holsenbeck installed a labyrinth at the Park, created from hundreds of shoes decorated by Dare County students.

The evening Art Auction, featuring the works of many favorite local artists, was held Sunday, October 4 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk. Over 200 art enthusiasts gathered to bid on spectacular artwork and gift packages from the area.

Proceeds of the 20th Annual Artrageous Art Extravaganza will again benefit art education and cultural programming in Dare County and the Artrageous Youth Scholarship Fund. Over the past 20 years, Artrageous has raised thousands of dollars and provided hundreds of art programs for Dare County’s youth. Our volunteers worked tirelessly to create a fun-filled weekend of art for our community, and a special thank you to all of the donating artists and the area businesses who contribute to this annual event. It wouldn't be possible without you!
